I,. Present : Trustees T~^~eedy, Skelt~rn, Rice , T~~urray and Greenamyer. City ng•ineer 1:Tiller was present . The T,inutes of the previous meeting vrere read and approved as read . t1 communi cation from Geo . B. Bunn requesting the Board of Trustees to amend the license ordinance making the license fox~ ice dis- tribution ~~75.00 per year payable in advance , ryas read. It was moved by Trustee Tweedy and seconded by Trustee T:lurray that a Conn:ittee be apt:~ointed to investiagate and make reco~nendations. Motion was carried and so ordered. Trustees Tweedy, ~~;ice and T~lul~ra~7 were appointed as the Com- mitt ee ; r~~ communication from the C-merican Legion of Compton inviting the Board' of `T'rust; es to participate in thc, celebration of tlrmistice day in Compton, was read. It w2.E ubved ~y Trustee Murray and seconded b~ `Trustee Tweedy that a comr~ittes of tyro be appointed with authority t_ arrange fora float at; tT~e Compton celet~r~.tion. T~otion was carried and so ordered . 't'rustee Skelton and Rice, were appointed on the above com- mittee. A communication frog the California ;iznicipal traffic League inviting the Board of Trustees to send delegates to the Second annual Convention of the League , was read . It was moved by Trustee Iv~urray and seconded by 't'rustee Skelton that the Cor~nissioner of Folice,t'lalter Bice and Chief of police Tt~Iillard be appointed as debates to the con- vention. :lotion was carried and so ordered. An 1~greement was submitted by the California Vibrolithic Com- pany for the installation o f concret a paveme nt under the Vibrolithic method in the City of Zynvrood. It was moved by ~; rustee Ri ce and. seconded by Trustee Sloe It on teat same be accepted and filed. It was carried and so ordered . ~ petition requesti.n.g the Board of 'srustees to repair the tBnnis court by concreteing same o:n the City property at the corner of California and Zynw,~od Road, vras read. Ii' request was also submitted asking the Board of 'trustees to move the present City Fall building on to the earns property and repair it for use b; boys and ~•irls scouts. It was moved by `T'rustee Murray and seconded by 't'rustee Skelton that the Board act as a co :mitt ee o f the whole t o rove st igat ~~ . The Trot io n was carried and so ordered. Ordinance Tvo . 9q~ hn Ordinance of the City of Lyn1rood provid- ing for the issuance of bonds of said City in the amount of X50,000.00 for the ~=cquisition,construction and completion of a certain municipal improvement, t~D-wit : The construction of a City Hall building, was read for the second time. It ryas moved by 'T'rustee Tweedy and seconded by= `T'rustee Rice that same be accepted as read the second time and passed to the third reading.
