The Board of Trustees, now known as trxe City Council of the City
of Lynwood, met in a Regular Sleeting at the City Hall, 3221 bSulford tivenue
on November Sth, 1927, at 7:30 F. bi.
Present: `T'rustees Tweedy, Skelton, Rice, Murray and Greenamyer.
City Attorney Rayne and City Engineer Miller, were present.
`T'rxe minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
A co:~~nunic:~tion from Dlr. '~Yisegarver requesting some action relative
to changing Belle Vernon Boulevard to Santa Fe.HVenue, was read. It was
moved by 'T'rustee nice and seconded by Trustee i~iurray trxat tine Board express
their approval or changing the name of Belle Vernon Boulevard to Santa Fe
t~venue, Modjeska Boulevard to State Street, and Tweedy and Abbott Road to
Century noulevard at the proper time. DQotion was carried and so ordered.
Itwas moved by ~.'zustee Skelton and seconded by 1'rusteeP~urray that
the blxilding Inspector be instructed to issue no permits for construction
of buildings within the territory to be acquired for the opening of Califor-
nia Street, except the approval of tare Board. Motion was carried and so
ordered.
Two Communications from the 3 Rebers relative to contracto r s
bonds and Municipal Insurance, were read. It was moved by Trustee mice
and seconded by Trustee Skelton that all contractors be requested to pur-
chase surety bonds and insurance from agents doing business in Lynwood.

A petition objecting to trxe moving of tine City Ha11 building to
the City property at Lynwood Road and California Street, was read. It was
moved ~by Trustee i+~urray and seconded by Trustee ^lweedy that same be ref er-
red to the Committee as a whole. i~S~tion~~~i carried and so ordered.
A communication from the molly "Chamber of Commerce requesting
tine Board of Trustees to include the improvement of Plain Street in the
Century Boulevard proceedings, was read. It was moved by Trustee Murray
and seconded by Trustee Rice tnat Engineer Miller be instructed to include
same. Motion wall carried and so o rde~dd.
It was moved by Trustee rice and seconded by Trustee Skelton tn.at
the bids for the disposal of garbage, be opened. M~ltion was carried Un d so
ordered.

Ordinance No. 97, ~inending Ordinance Na.93, was read for the
first time. It was moved b Trustee Rice and seconded by Trustee Tweedy
trx:~tsame be accepted as read t~2e first time and passed to the second read-
ing.

Ordinance No. 97, amending Ordinance No. 93, was read for tn.e
second time. It was moved by Truste r Tweedy and seconded by 'T'rustee mice
that same be accepted as read the second time and passed to the third read-
in g.

was carried and so ordered.
