Psi. Present: Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Rice, ,Jiurray and Greenamyer. City ~nginaer miller was present. `t'he minutes of the previous meeting were read .and approved as read. A communication from C. A. ~zllock requesting action by the Board relative to a dance hall permit, was read. It was moved by Trustee Tweedy and seconded by Trustee mice that a committee be appointed to investigate and make tecommendations. Motion was carried and. so ordered. Trustees Murray and Rice and City Attorney Hayne, were appointed on the Above committee. A invitation to attend the next meeting of the State Street Associa~ tion, was read, and ordered filed. A communication from W. C. Corning relative to Lot on Lynwood lYoad adjoining City property, was read. It was moved by Trustee Rice and seconded by `trustee Tweedy that sane be filed. Moon was carried and so ordered. A communication from the Independent `t'itle Company offering to fur- nish title eertif icate under ". & I. District No. 13 for X100.00 and under A. & I. District No. 14.for X210.00, ®as read. A notice of intention to circulate a petition for annexation of the territory southeast of the City of Lynwood, was read. Ordinance No. 98, An Ordinance prohibiting the crossing over a fire hose in the City of Lynwood, was read for the first time. It was moved by 'Trustee Rice and seconded by Trustee Tweedy that same be accepted as read the first time and passed ~o the second reading. Ro11 Call; Ayes: Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Rice, Murray and Greenamyer. Noes: None. A Communication from the Sanitary Garbage Collection Company re- lative to the garbage contract, was read. It was .roved by Trustee nice ' and seconded by Trustee Skelton that same be filed. Motion was carried and -so ordered.
