The Bo and of Trustees, no•~a knotivn as the City Council of the
City, of ZSmti~rood, met in an ~journed Regular meeting at the City Hall,
3239 T:~iulford Xivenue,on Tuesday evening Febuary 31st, at 7:30 r. P.

The minutes of the previous meeting t~aere read and approved
as read .
A Communication from is e I,ynw,god exchange Club recommendint
~¢ an increase in salary for the Board of trustees, was read. It was
moved by Trustee akelton and seconded by `t'rustee ~{ice treat tree' ques-
tion of an increase o f salary to X25.00 per month for each Trustee be
included in the call for ry~unicipal Blection April 9th, 1928.

was carried and s o ordered .

Rice that the contract to furnish lamp globes for tl:e street light-
ing system be awarded to >ylde Electric ~ornpany.

The gzaestion of issuing a permit to the Postal Telegraph
Company for the moving of their line on North Long• Beach ?boulevard to
conform to tt~e yidening of Long '3each Boulevard,was discussed. It
was moved by `t'rustee tziceand seconded b~. Trustee ~~:~urray treat the natter
be referred to yngineer ~~iller and Attorne~v Rayne for investigation
and that the Clerk be instructed to issue s hermit if re comlmended by
them.
