The minutes of the previous minutes were re€;.d and approved as read. The Board was informed that Engineer Schwabland had filed suit for various amounts a3aeged to be due him for work performed. It wds moved by Trustee Rice and seconded by `Trustee Tweedy th€~t 4ity attorney Haytrie be instructed and empowered to proceed with the legal defense --- under this suit. It cuss moved by Trustee IMurr~y and seconded by 'Trustee Tweedy th€~t the rostGl `t'elegraph Cable Company be and it is hereby granted permission to move back and relocate its line of telegraph poles now on the east side walk area of Long Beach Boulevard, in the city of Lynwood, such moving back and relocation of such poles being ~~ made necessary by reason of the street improvements being done on Lone Beach Boulevard under "Acquisition and I~prove:n9nt District Rio. 15." The said poles are direcied to be relocated a~ specified by the nginedr. j~he Board of `trustees reserves the right to cause such poles to be removed off (rain the new location thereof if and when the public safety, welfare and convience may, in the hoard's judgment, require such removal.
