RE:
Reinhart Application
The Commission directed that this application be returned to
You. As you remember, you had made a condition that more
landscape material be placed on the south side. There were
no amended drawings presented to show this and the landscape
architect did not attend the meeting. In view of this, the
Commission decided to send it back to you with an additional
recommendation that more tall material be provided on the north
side as well. They just dropped off another set of drawings
which are included in your packet.

RE: Roof Color Change Request from Bath & Tennis Club
An administrative approval was given, renovations to be made to
the fitness center. These renovations included a new roof which
was to be white, thru & thru flat tile to match the club building
on the east side of AIA. A copy of that roofing permit application
is enclosed.
Also enclosed is a copy of a survey of the property and the
locations of the properties referred to in the letter of request
are marked thereon.
The request is to change the roof.tile to grey flat cement tile.
March 9, 2017
To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is to request that the Architectural Review Board of the Town of Gulf Stream consider a
color change for the Gulf Stream Bath and Tennis Club fitness center PERMIT If 16-166651. The
originally submitted documentation stated that a white flat cement tile would be applied to the roof
of the newly renovated building. After further consideration, we would like to install a flat grey
cement tile. The purpose for this change is provide a cohesive look between the existing tennis pro
shop, which is covered with grey asphalt shingles and for ease of maintenance. This facility located
to the immediate west of AlA, sits under the umbrella of a large banyan tree and numerous
Australian pines that will inevitably leave residue on the roof. Additionally, our neighbors to the
immediate north are shingled in brown, grey and to the far west, white. The Board of Governors has
approved this change and anxiously awaits your decision so we may proceed with work on this
facility. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
Please contact me should any further information be required.
Sincerely,
W
