The Board of Trustees,' now known ss the Cite Council of the
Cit~;~ of Lynwood, met in a Special session at the Cit~T Hall, 3239
l~Iulford Avenue, on Frida~T evening, April 27th, 1928, at 7:30 P. rF.
Present~ustees Tweedy, Skelton, Anderson and ?='urras
Absent: Trustee Greenamyer.
In the absence of the President of the Board of Trustees
or Cite Council, now known as the t'ayor, .'motion was made by
Trustee Anderson and seconded by Trustee l5kelton that Trustee
Murray be elected President pro-ter.: fo~-° the purpose of conducting
the meeting.. 2~~otion was carried and so ordered..
It was moved by Trustee Anderson and seconded by Trustee
Tweedy that the Cite i~reasurer Rutter and City Clerk Chapman be
authorized to pay the taxes on account of the condemnation proceed-
ings in the Matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 4
and 6 of the City- of yynwood.

Ayes ; Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Anderson and 1~`urray.
Noes: None.
Absent: Trustee Greenamyer.
It was moved b~- Trustee Skelton and seconded b,- Trustee
Tweedy that the Cit3- Clerk be instructed to purchase 1000 letters
heads from H . ~. 4Yhitaker, Printer.

It was moved by Trustee Skelton and seconded by Trustee
Tweedy that chief Millard be appointed Clerk of the Court. notion
was carried and so ordered.

Tweedy that Claire DedE~rick and Rrnest Higgins be employed as
patrolmen to take effect ~~ay 1st, 1928, at a salary of 125.00

'Skelton that a new Fordson Tractor equipped with Bell City Tracks
and taco tractor mower be purchased on the following terms:
Leased by City for a period of ~i4 mo the upon the first
payment of X299.00, the balance ~100.00~ t~'t"a~ cost being X1,6,38.60.
