M. ~~ yy~,~.Q~!4,~y Present; Trustees 8kelton,.Tweedy, Murray. ~,;~, Absent: Trustees Greenamyer and Anderson. The minutes of the regular meeting of July 10th and special meeting of July 12th were read and approved as read. A communication from Mr. H. H. Pr?ason of Lynwood Hardware Compan~, in regard to lawnmower recently pruchased for City for X350.00. The arrangement is that the City remit Lynwood Hardware Com:a,ny X50.00 on or about the 1st of each month and he to remit the Com~,a.ny. .._. It vas moved by Trustee Tweedy and seconded By Trustee Skelton that this be done. Roll Call: '~ Ayes; Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, and Hurray. Noes; None. Absent: Trustees Greenarnyer and Anderson. A communication from H. Fiander of 305 Olive Avenue, Walnut Parl requesting permit to operate a skating rink on Lot 988-TrGct 3172, City of Lynwood, was read. Moved by Trustee Tweedy and seconded by Trustee Skelton that the reque t be granted. -Roll Call; Ayes: Trustees Skelton, Tweedy end Murray. Noes; None. Absent; Trustees Greenamyer and Anderson. Engineer Miller reported on the bids for the improvement in the ma,tterof Accauisition and Improvement District No. ~2 of the City of Lyn- wood, which bids were publicly opened and declared at the meeting of this City Council held on the 10th day of July, 1928, said Miller reported; that the mid of A C. Rice w~ s the low bid; that the bid of 0. U. Mir~icle vas second low bid and that the bid of Drainage Cas~truction Co., was this low bid. The saad Council then considered the bid of said A C Rice and found that the bond accompanying his bid waa not acceptable to said Council The Council then considered a communication from 0. U. Miracle stating that an error had been made in filling out his bid and asking that his bid be •- rejected. Resolution No. 537 vas then read, it being entitled as follows; "IN THE MATTER OF ACQUTSITI:,~N AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0.22 OF THE CITY OF LYNR'OOD-RESOLLTIO~I OF' A~aARD~' , it was moved by Trustee Tweedy and se- conded by Trustee S~.elton that the resolution be adopted. Mir~:cle asking for an e~tention of time of 60 days for the Completion of the ~=ork of construction in the Matter of Acruisition ~:nd Improvement District No. 15 of the City of Lyn- wood was recd. The Council considered said request and determined that sd,id extention should be grG.nted. Resolution No. 538 was then read, it being entitled as follows; "IN THE MATTER OF AC~?UISITiON AND IMPROVEu~ENT DISTRICT N0.- 15 OF THE CITY CF LYNZ~OOD-RESOLUTION E<:TENDING TIME FOR THE COMPLETION OF V6'ORK. a ~ It wa.s moved by Trustee Tweedy and seconded by Trustee Skelton that the Resolution be adopted.
