Roll Call: Present, Trustees Tweedy, Skelton, Anderson, Gree.~amyer., hurray also Engineer Miller and City Trewsurer Rutter. Minutes of previous meeting recd and approved as dead. Letter from Southern California Edison Company, Right of Way agent relative to constructing a line on the property line easterly of Long Beach Boulevard, in order to remove all poles from Long Bec.chBlvd., between Fernwood Avenue and Orchard Avenue and asking the City to grant " them an easerrent for this time. The request was granted. Letter receavdd fromConsolidated Btilities Company in regard to the establishment of poles on Peach Street. Trustees Anderson, Greenamyer and ~ngineer ~~iller were appointed a committee by the A~ayar to look into this and t a conf er Trri th the E_~glneer of the Telephone Company and work out.a satisfactory plan. The Board received a letter from the a Re-hers relating to Weed • assessment charges on Tract 5632, City of Lynvrood. The amount involved is X246.39 on the lots owned by the 3.Re~aers. They claim there should be no ch~.rge as they nave had the weeds mowed thex~selves. Letter was ordered. filed. ~~j~ Owner of property at Los Mores and Peach street addre=sed tree Board relative to having temporay fridge put in at different crossings on Peach to take care of the overflo~rr of water when it rains. Trustee Ckelton and Trustee Tweedy were appointed a com;nitte~ to devise same way to re~~edy this matter. A delegation from Lynwood Post, American Legion, asked Board to have fountain purcha:~ed by them to be placed in position in front of City Hall, as dedication ceremonies will take place this month. Rea,uest was granted and fountain ordered insta.led. Grant Deed received from R. ~. Kinca.id and D~ar_aret L. Kincaid his wi#'e, and Alice L. Kincaid, conveying to the City of Lynv~road, all that heal Y'roperty in the City of Lynwood described in deed.
