The City Couno3l of the City of Lyawood,Callfornia,does hereby resolve as follows; SECTION 1. That Robert B.Miller,a competent engineer ,be, and he is hereby appointed Engineer of Work in the above entitled matter,and is direoted to do and furnish all of the civil engineering work and services ,surveying and similar work and services necessary to the proper performanoe of the improvement is the above entitled matter. That the oompeasation of said Engineer of Work be,and the ease is,hereby fixed at Four (4~ ) peroent of the amount of the ooatract of the ooatractor doing said work ,exolusive of all inoiden- tal expenses. SECTION 2, That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood shall oertify to the adoption of this resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED thi a 16th. day of July ,1939. There were none.He next asked if any person in the audienoe had anq ob- ~ections to the extent of the District ,to the Zones into which the Dis.. tract is divided~to the percentages to be raised therefrom,or to the grade or ~ades to which the Improvement is proposed to be Qonstructed. Roll Cail; • Ayes: Trustee Tvieedy,Skelton,Anderson,Lewis,Murray Noes ; None Absent None - ---- -- EAgsneer Miller presented a letter received by him from Geo.N.Jones,Road vommissioner of Los Angeles County relating to ggrade crossing at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Flee Tracks.The Pacific Electric will take-Dare of a"11 details-and construc- tion of same for ~745.OO.Mr.Jones advises that the County of Los Angeles will reimburse the City of Lynwood for the above amount of widening , and reconstructing this crossing.On motion of Trustee Anderson and Seconded by Trustee 8kelton,Engineer Miller was instructed to proceed with the improvement as outlined in letter.
