Engineer ~diller and City Attorney Hayne were present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approv- ed as read. ,'"'~' COMMUNI CAT IONS Letter received from Regional Planning Commission of Los Angeles County in reply to our request of Aug.7th.for a set of the plans in connection with proposes; Net Work of Thru Hi-Y~ays in Los Angeles County.Commission will soon publish a report cov- ering the project which is known as 2:-E of the Regional Plan of Hi-ways,and a copy. will be forwarded to us.Moved and carried that communication be received and filed. Protest received in the matter of A & I No.lB,signed by Louis 8wantek Et Al .On motion of Trustee Tweedy seconded by Trustee Skelton,this was referxed~ to Special City Attorney. Roll Call: Ayes Trustee Tweedy,8kelton,Anderson,Lewis,Murray Letter received from E.C.Johnson,Chief Engineer , Pacific Elec.Ra.ilway Company addressed to Mayor Murray,in xegard to moving station back ,at Fernwood Ave.a,nd Long Beach Boulevard, stating they will go ahead with the work of removal after the first of the coming ~jear,if agreeable to the City Council.Clerk was instructed to write them this arrangement will be satisfact- ory. ORDINANCE N0.131, Entitled an Ordinance of the Board of Trustees now known as the City Council of the City of Lynwood, ,_, fixing the amount of money necessP.xy to be raised under the law by taxation upon the taxable real.p~~perty ,within the City of ', Lynwood,as a revenue for said~City to Derry on the various mu- nicipal Departments of said City ,for the Fiscal Year ,1929-1930, was read for the first time.It was moved by Trustee Anderson,and seconded by Trustee Skelton'that same be accepted as read the first time and passed to the second reading.
