D` ~ ~, -'s~~=- ~- ~ ~~_ -- Present; Trustee Tweedy,Skelton,Anderson,Lewis,Murray The minutes of the previous meeting read and approved as read. COMMUNICATIONS; Letter received from the Consolidated Utilities Company of Compton acknowledging receipt of out letter ~of September 4th.requesting them to remove telephone pole on Brewster Avenue,Atlantic Fark Addition, .,stating they will give this their attention within the next few weeks. In this connection the Company states-they are ready at all times to adjust any complaints with reference to their poles or~property.Moved -and parried that letter be received and filed-. Petition received from owners in the Carson Traat,signed by the Walnut Park National Bank and three other property owners,repre- senting more than fifty per Dent of the property sought to be improved, asking the City Council to improve certain streets in this Tract by the construction of Dement curbs sidewalks and gutters under the Improvement Act of 1911.It was moved by ~rustee Tweedy,aeconded by Trustee Lewis, that it be referred to Engineer Miller,he to proceed with p1anB and sp ec if i~c at ions. Roll Call: Ayes Trustee Tweedy,8kelton,Anderson,Lewis,~urray Noes : None Letter received from F.F.Frasier,representing the Union Deposit Company of Denver owners of Lynwood Manor asking the City to have streets clean~~t~ -that localtty,they having expended considerable money in beautifying that section of the City.In this connection they thank --the City 'for granting their request some time ago for water free of charge ;in irrigsti^g the trees.This matter was referred to Street Commissioner - /n-fF - Order received from the Railroad Oommission of the State of California authorizing the construction of spur track across Alameda Street in the Citp of Lpnwood,to the Southern Pacific Company,permission having already been granted them by the City•of Lynwood.Moved and carried that order -be filed. -JFeti-t1_on received from property owner8 on alley easterly • of Belle Vernon Avenue ,and south of Webber Avenue ,asking that alley be- •opened and widened to a width of fifty feet.
