Roll Oall; Present: Trustees Tweedy,Skelton,Anderson,Lewis,Murrap . City Attorney Hayne and Engineer biller were present. The minutes of the meeting of September lOth.were read and approved as read.There being no meeting September 17th.on account of not having a quorum. Communication from R.R.Hess representing Crouch and Crouch, '-- Attorneys at Laro~,Los Angeles,fn reply to our letter of September 14th. asking for further information regarding Acquisition & Improvement Dist. No.'s 4 and 6 ,as the matter was not clea,rlp defined in Mr.Hess's letter of August 8th..This last letter of Mr. Hess explaining the proposition was laid over for further discussion. Agreement between A.W.Saundris and the City of Lynwood,sub- leasing pa,reel of land for the purpose of an open drain to take case- of flood waters flowing off from Beechwood,Mulford and Sanborn Avenues . The City oi' Lynwood to pay ten dollars per year as long as the contract is in force.On motion of Trustee Anderson seconded by Trustee Tweedy, ,this agreement was4aecepted.- Roll Call: . Petition received from local plumbers and Eleetrietians signed by Lynwood Electric Company and Sanders Plumbing Company and .six others,requesting that license fee in both cases be changed from X12.00 quarterly~to X100.00 per year payable in advanoe.It was moved by Trustee Tweedy,secronded by Trustee Lewis that the change be made and the matter referred to Building Inspector Beymer,and amending the Ordinance now in ^- force.AttoTrney Hayne to draw up crew Ordinanee amending old one.
