- The Board of Trustees now known as the City Council of
- the City of Lynwood met in adjourned regular aession,Tuesday evening,
- October 15th.at sever thirty o'clock,at the City Hal1,11331 Plaza St.
Roll Call:
Present Trustees Tweedy,Skelton,Anderaon,Lewis,l~urray
Engineer Miller was present.
The minutes of the previous meeting,October 8th were,
_read and approved as read. .
~. xeport received from~the County Health Department for
'""" -the month of September for the district affecting Lynwood.It was,mov-
ed and carried that report be received and ordered filed.
It was moved by Trustee Skelton seconded by Trustee
Tweedy that the Mayor be authorised and he is hereby directed to
execute fo_ r a_ nd on_ behalf of the Oitp of Lynwood,a Satisfaction: of.
Judgement in that certain action entitled " City of Lynwood VS .
George H.Oswald,No.288425 in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County
Cslifornia,in the matter of Acquisition & Improvement District No.lB,
of said Oity,in the form presented ,a,nd that a copy of said form be
filed in the records of the City Olerk.

Mr.Gray addressed the Board calling their attention
to the fact that Lynwood's name is omitted from the sign boaxds
along different streets and Boulevards in the vicinity of Lynwood,
and that this should be corrected so the traveling public will know
we are on the map.Mr.Gray was requested to take this matter up with
the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce,and have them act on it and heve this
oversight remided.
Mr.Snodgrass called the attention of the Hoard to the
high weeds-and grass on the ldacIntyre Tract in the north east sectial
of Lynwood.
Engineer Miller was instructed to prepare map of strip
of land on Minnesota Street ,east of Long Beach Boulevarel ,for con-
demnation purposes .
