The Board of Trustees of the City of Lynwood met in adiourned
regular session at the City Hall. 205 ''hest F.4ulford Ave, Friday. July
1~3, 1924, at 7:30 pm.
Present: Trustees Downey ~'=ord~~ Txeedv Reed Anderson
Absent: None
President Anderson in the Chair. Clerk present.

The obiect of the meeting; being for the discussion and action
on the emergency created. by the diminishing water supply this sae
~ taken ~zp.
On motion by Trizstee Downey, seconded by Trustee Reed, a Reso-
lution entitled "A Resol~ztion of the Board of Trustees of the City
' of Lynwood declaring an emergency to exist by reason of the dimin-
' fishing water supply of the said City and resolving to enter into con-
tract for the drilling of a rtnnicipal well to relieve a threatened
shortage." was ado^ted ry the following vote: Resolution No 200.

The Board having received bids for the drilling of a municipal
well, on motion by Tr~zstee Gordy, seconded b~~ Trustee Tweedy, the
same were ordered opened. ~7here~zpon the Clerk opened and publicly
read bids from the following firms: J V st~right, V r Proctor, Jas H
Tompkins and So Cal ''dell Drilling Assn. After examining same it was
found and declared that the bid of the So Cal "~e11. Drilling Assn was
.the lowest.
The `"dater Comzhission~r'reported that the present schedule for
using dater for irrigation purposes was not satisfactory, and made a
motion that the hours for same be as follows: Cons~,~mera living on
the north and west sides of the varilzos streets be allowed to use
water for irrigation purposes on T~fondays, '.~~ednesdays and Fridays be-
tween the hours of 4pm and 7pm. Those .living on the south and east
on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays daring the same hours. And that
all consumers tie allowed to irrigate from 4pm to 7pm on Szznd,ays . Above
motion upon being seconded by Tr~~stee Downey was carried unanirnouslq.
C`n motion P.•oard adiourned to meet '`~ednesday July 23 1924 at
the usual time and place.
