Carried. `� � Clerk Mayor The Wellsburg Town Council met in r ular session on June 4 with Mayor Eckhoff presiding and all council members present. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved on a motion by Van Deest, seconded by Hippen. Carried. The treasurer's report was accepted as read on a motion by Huis- man, seconded by Heinrich. Carried. Fairbanks moved, l�ippen seconded allowance for payment of the following bills: Paul J. Siefken, net salary $447.08 Alfred Krull, net salary 436.32 Henry J. Grobe, net salary 78.51 Paul J. Siefken, 2 trips to Belmond 30.00 Krull Skelly Service, gas, oil, repairs 142.60 Brainard Electronics, police radio repair 7.75 Grundy Co. Carried. Fairbanks seconded a motion made by Hippen to employ Rick Penning at a salary of $55o for the month of June and $600 per month beginning July 1. Carried. Mayor Eckhoff administered the oath to Rick Penning. ��36 On a motion by Van Deest, seconded by Heinrich, it was moved that the Federal Revenue Sharing Funds tentatively be sn_ent on capital impr����vements. Carried. Following a motion by Fairbanks, seconded by Van Deest, the meet- ing stood adjourned. It was moved by Fair- banks, seconded by Van Deest to replace cement not to exceed three feet in depth of existing width. Roll call of votes-- Ayes=Fairbanks, Huisman, Hippen, Van Deest Nays -None Absent -Heinrich There being no further business, the meeting stood��.,adjourned.
