Proclaiming April 17, 2017
William H. Thrasher Day
in the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida,
in recognition of the 21 years of outstanding and dedicated
service given by William H. Thrasher to the Town of Gulf Stream.
WHEREAS, William H. Thrasher was employed to serve as Finance Director in
the Town of Gulf Stream on April 29, 1996; and
WHEREAS, William H. Thrasher has honorably served the Town of Gulf
Stream in countless capacities over the past 21 years, including the positions of
Finance Director, Town Manager, Zoning Administrator and Planning Director; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Gulf Stream and its residents have greatly benefited
from the exceptional services performed by William H. Thrasher; and
WHEREAS, those who have worked with William H. Thrasher at the Town of
Gulf Stream also have benefited from his professionalism, wealth of knowledge,
and sense of humor, and
WHEREAS, William H. Thrasher will be greatly missed by residents and
employees alike of the Town of Gulf Stream who wish his continued success in all
future endeavors; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Gulf Stream wishes to express its sincere gratitude to
William H. Thrasher for exceptional efforts on the Town's behalf.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Scott W. Morgan, Mayor of the Town of Gulf
Stream, Palm Beach County, Florida, do hereby proclaim April 17, 2017, as William
H. Thrasher Day in the Town of Gulf Stream in recognition of the exceptional tenure
of dedicated service given to the Town of Gulf Stream by William H. Thrasher.
