Dear Martin E. O’Boyle [records@commerce-group.com]: The Town of Gulf Stream has received your public records request dated April 11, 2017. The original public records request can be found at the following link: http://www2.gulf-stream.org/weblink/0/doc/110763/Page1.aspx Thank you for your follow-up to a prior request made by you and labeled by the Town as GS #2477. The Town informed you on February 11, 2017 that your request for “all transcripts and videos” required clarification in order for the Town to determine whether to provide you with an estimate for the extensive use of information technology resources or extensive clerical or supervisory assistance as described in Fla. Stat. § 119.07(4)(d). This request for clarification was done as a courtesy to you to ensure the Town could accurately and promptly provide you with an estimate, if necessary, or production of the public records you seek. The Town is further providing you with a partial production available at the following links: http://www2.gulf-stream.org/weblink/0/doc/57289/Page1.aspx http://www2.gulf-stream.org/weblink/0/doc/103206/Page1.aspx As the Town has previously noted, many depositions are posted on the Town’s website, which you can find by going to www.gulf-stream.org and clicking on “Find a Town Record”, clicking on “Legal” and then “Depositions.” There you will find approximately 5,000 pages of deposition transcripts responsive to your request. Videos of depositions, and additional videos, including videos of Town Commission Meetings, ARPB Meetings, Budget Hearings, Special Meetings, and Code Enforcement Hearings can be found at the following link, which contains approximately 140 videos responsive to your request: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyJTjen2HMOSbss-CYOpzdQ Unfortunately, your follow-up clarification dated April 11, 2017 did not enable the Town to further identify responsive records, in an effort to respond in good faith, as required under Fla. Stat. § 119.07(c). You have identified a type of record and the Town has attempted in good faith to provide you with a reasonable initial production of records; however, you have failed to sufficiently specify the records that you seek with sufficient particularity to enable the Town to provide a good faith response with an accurate estimate for the full production of records you seek. The Town requests again that you clarify what records you seek and we will endeavor to respond appropriately. If the Town does not receive clarification from you within 30 days, it will consider this matter closed. Sincerely, Reneé Rowan Basel As requested by Rita Taylor, Town Clerk Custodian of the Records
