AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9, MOAB CITY CODE 1965,
AS AMENDED,
UTAH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOAB,
THAT ArticleII. Sec. 9-2 of the Ordinances of Moab City, 1965, as
amended be, and the same is, hereby amended to read as follows, to -wit:
"Sec. 9 - 2 Adoption.
There is hereby adopted by the city council, f or the purpose of prescrib-
ing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from
fire or explosion, that certain code known as the Fire Prevention Code,
recommended by the American Insurance Association, being particularly
the 1970 edition thereof and the whole thereof, and the same is hereby
adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, together
with all amendments and additions that may hereafter be made thereto."
THAT the City Council finds and declares that it is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the peace, health and safety of this City that this
Ordinance take effect upon its passage and publication.
Passed by the unanimous vote of all members present of the City
Council of the City of Moab, Utah, this 21st day of October, A. D., 1975.
