RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION
THROUGH THE DESTINATION IOWA FOR FUND FOR IOWA ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Marcus, Iowa is desirous of submitting an application
to the Destination Iowa for Funding for Iowa Economic Development for the new
construction of a Marcus Community Clubhouse.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marcus Golf Course is
authorized to submit a grant application to Destination Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Marcus demonstrates its support
for the submittal of the Destination Iowa grant application for the construction of
a new Marcus Community Clubhouse. The City further agrees to adequately
maintain the completed project for its intended public following the project
completion.
This Resolution shall be effective following its adoption by the City Council.
Passed by the City Council this 8th day of August 2022.
