HomeMy Public PortalAboutMinutes - 6/5/1972������ The Wellsburg Town Council met in regular session on May 1, 1972, with Mayor Eckhoff presiding and Councilmen Hippen, Van Deest, Fairbanks, and Heinrich in attendance. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved on a motion by Van Deest, seconded by Fairbanks. Carried. The treasurer`s report was accepted as read on a motion by Fairbanks, seconded by Heinrich. Carried. On a motion by Hippen, seconded by Fairbanks, the following bills were allowed for payment: Aeilt Terfehn, net salary ��3��4.50 Herman DeVries, net salary 394.50 Henry J. Grobe, net salary 72.00 Peoples Savings Bank, interest on bonds 123.00 Rick Penning, labor on streets 40.00 Henry Hippen Auto & Oil, loading and hauling snow 22.50 Vernon Penning, hauling snow & rock 61.31 Grundy Co. Carried. On a motion by Van Deest, seconded by Huisman, it was moved to allow a warrant for $100 to the Wellsburg Band for summer concerts. G ��rr��ed. By mutual agreement, the clerk was instructed to advertise in The Wellsburg Herald for help for maintenance and part time police duty for the Town of Wellsburg. There being no further business, the meeting stood adjourned.
