AU SOLEIL FOR A VERBAL DISPUTE CALL. UPON ARRIVAL OFC. SMITH AND I MET WITH MR. JAMES MARRA WHO TOLD ME THAT HE WAS HAVING AN ARGUMENT WITH HIS WIFE MRS. PAULA MARRA WHO WAS TRYING TO LEAVE THE HOUSE WITH THE CHILDREN. MR MARRA CLAIMED THAT SHE HAD BEEN DRINKING WINE EARLIER IN THE EVENING. MRS. P. MARRA CLAIMS THAT SHE HAD NOT BEEN DRINKING BUT THAT SHE HAD A VERY STRESSFUL DAY AT WORK AND WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN IT TO HER HUSBAND, WHO BECAME DISRESPECTFUL TO HER BUT WAS NOT PHYSICAL TOWARDS HER BOTH PARTIES HAVE RETAINED ATTORNEYS BECAUSE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF A DIVORCE IN THE FUTURE. MRS. P. MARRA LEFT THE RESIDENCE TO SPEND THE NIGHT IN DELRAY BEACH. ALL PARTIES HAVE GONE THEIR OWN WAY. UPON POLICE ARRIVAL, I MET WITH THE COMPLAINANT (JAMES MARRA) AT THE RESIDENCE FRONT DOOR MR MARRA INVITED POLICE INSIDE OF HOME. MR. MARRA WENT ON TO STATE THAT HE WAS HAVING ON GOING MARITAL ISSUES WITH HIS WIFE, PAULA MARRA; THE COUPLE ARE SAID TO BE DIVORCING. i Page Z of 2 Complaint Number: 16-116b MR MARRA WAS THE ONLY PERSON AT THE RESIDENCE AT THIS TIME. MRS. MARRA IS SAID TO BE RESIDING AT ANOTHER FAMILY PROPERTY IN MR MARRA CONTINUED BY STATING THAT AS RECENT AS TODAY, MRS. MARRA REMINDS HIM THAT SHE IS RECORDING HIM. MRS. MARRA ALLEGEDLY REPEATEDLY THREATENS (AS IN MENACING MR MARRA) BY CALLING THE POLICE ON HIM IN RETALIATION FOR THEIR MARITAL STATUS. MR MARRAADDED THAT MRS. MARRA IS FREQUENTLY INEBRIATED ADDING TO THE CONCERNS MENTIONED ABOVE, THAT HE WOULD AND COULD BE FALSELYACCUSED OF DOMESTIC ABUSE. THERE IS NO COURT ORDER IN PLACE PROHIBITING EITHER PARTY CONTACT OR ACCESS TO PROPERTIES. WITH WHAT WAS PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED WITH MR MARRA, HE HAS LEGAL COUNSELAND APPEARS TO BE MOVING FORWARD IN DISSOLVING THE RELATIONSHIP. MR MARRAAPPEARED TO SHOW GOOD JUDGMENT AND UNDERSTANDING IN PREVENTING ANY AND ALL FALSE ALLEGATIONS AND WAS ENCOURAGED TO CALL POLICE FOR ANY FUTURE CONCERNS AND ISSUES. MR MARRA WAS PROVIDED WITH A POLICE CASE CARD; NO FURTHER POLICE ACTION WARRANTED IN REGARDS TO THIS COMPLAINT.
