Good Morning, Ms. Taylor,
Two weeks ago I sent an email about mental health training for law enforcement.
I didn’t get a response from you so I am resending this email.
Can you please acknowledge receipt of my email and get back with me?
Thank you,
Niels

Subject: Mental Health Training
Good Morning Ms. Taylor,
Can you please forward this email to the person who can answer our questions?
Thank you.
We are looking into Law Enforcement interacting with mentally ill people and we’re interested in learning what types of
training agencies provide to prepare law enforcement officers to deal with situations involving mentally ill persons or
people who are having some sort of mental episode.
Can you please take a minute to answer the questions below:
- Does your agency provide mental health/crisis intervention training, how many hours of training is provided?
- What kind of training does your agency provide. Is there any documentation related to this training that you can send
to us?
- Is this training provided to all, or just some officers. If not all. how many officers currently in the department have been
trained?
If questions arise please don’t hesitate to contact us
Thanks,
