ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. 63-53: 3. L. Meek, et al, 6004 N. Rosemead, Temple City Discussion on this matter was continued from the July 1 meeting. Thoughts in regard to the matter were as follows: Commissioner Erickson expressed the feeling that the persons concerned did have a probien, but that he felt it would be an injustice to the other people of Temple City.to grant a zone change at this time. Commissioner Briggs expressed the feeling that if Rosemead was going to be rezoned, it should be rezoned all the way down the street, not just in one area. Commissioner Harker expressed the feeling that the homes on the west side of the street were higher quality homes and better maintained than those on the east side, and that he felt it would be an injustice to the people on the west side of the street to change the zone now. Chairman Beckley expressed the feeling that he felt that this matter should be taken up when the comprehensive plan is pre- sented, not now; and that it will be within the next three months that discussion will be under way on the comprehensive plan. A motion was made by Commissioner Briggs that the City Attorney be instructed to draw a resolution denying the request for a zone change without prejudice.
