A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF' THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, SELECTING
JOCELYII B. KOCH AS THE VILLAGE CLERK;
PROVIDING FOR AUTHORIZATION; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS' the Village of Key Biscayne ("Village") Council is required, pursuant to
Section 3.04 of the Village Charter, to appoint a Village Clerk; and
WHEREAS, after review and consideration of the numerous resumes from qualified
individuals for the Village Clerk position, the Village Council wishes to select Jocelyn B. Koch
as the Village Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that this Resolution is in the best interest and
welfare of the residents of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF'
THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.. Recitals Adopted. That each of the above-stated recitals are hereby
adopted, confirmed, and incorporated herein.
Section 2. Selection. That the Village Council selects Jocelyn B. Koch as the Village
Clerk.
Section 3. Authorization. That Vice Mayor Brett Moss is authorized to negotiate
and execute an employment letter, subject to approval by the Village Attorney as to form,
content, and legal sufficiency.
n4.Effective Date. That this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption.
