A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING
COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA
Whereas, there are two positions on the Planning and Zoning Commission that need to
be appointed; and,
Whereas, with the approval of Resolution 2023-060, one of those positions was filled
still leaving one position remaining to be appointed; and,
Whereas, the City needs to comply with gender equality requirements to the best of its
ability,
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council of the City of Tiffin appoints Tony
Johnson to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
On this 5th day of September, 2023, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION 2023-061, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING MEMBER FOR
THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. The motion was
seconded by Councilperson Orris.
Ayes: Olney, Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2023-061, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
APPOINTMENT OF A PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEMBER FOR THE
CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing
his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 5th day of September, 2023.
