A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD EXTENDING
A SIX-MONTH CONTRACT WITH ACE COMMERCIAL, INC. TO PROVIDE PRINTING
AND MAIL SERVICES FOR THE LYNWOOD `N PERSPECTIVE
WHEREAS, on June 15, 2010 the City Council awarded a one year contract to
ACE Commercial, Inc. for printing and mail services of the Lynwood `n Perspective; and
WHEREAS, the contract with ACE Commercial, Inc. will terminate on June 30,
2011; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends the City Council approve a six month contract
extension with the current vendor, ACE Commercial, Inc. to provide printing and mail
preparation services for the City's monthly newsletter Lynwood `n Perspective (LNP);
and
WHEREAS, the extension will commence on July 1, 2011 and terminate on
December 31, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the cost of printing services is approximately $17,440 per year.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council is authorized to approve a six month contract
extension with ACE Commercial, Inc.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED THIS 7 day of June, 2011.
