A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE LAW OFFICE OF
BRENDA L. DIEDERICHS FOR PERSONNEL BOARD LEGAL COUNSEL
WHEREAS, legal services are budgeted in the City's Fiscal Year 2010-2011
budget; and
WHEREAS, the Personnel Board has an immediate and ongoing need for third-
party legal counsel; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Diederichs is a well respected attorney with extensive
experience in such matters and is currently the Board Legal Advisor; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Law Office of Brenda L. Diederichs Services
Agreement is mutually acceptable to the City and Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD HEREBY FINDS, ORDERS AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby approves the
form of the City-Law Office of Brenda L. Diederichs Agreement attached hereto.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
