Present, Chair Belinda Eyestone ; Member G . Howard Hayes , Deputy Assessor James

Call to Order : Ms . Eyestone called the meeting to order at 5 : 33pm .
1 . Report of the Deputy Assessor : Mr . Gallagher gave an abbreviated report on end of the
fiscal year activities .
2 . Review and Sign Barnstable County Commissioners County Tax Warrant
3 . Review and Sign Barnstable County Commissioners Environmental Protection Fund
Tax Warrant
Ms . Eyestone moved to approve and sign the Barnstable County Commissioners County Tax
Warrant and the Barnstable County Environmental Protection Fund Tax Warrant. Mr . Hayes
seconds, approved unanimously .
4 . Uncollectible Personal Property Abatements
Mr . Hayes moved to approve the uncollectible business personal property abatements as
identified in the June 6 , 2019 memo from Lisa Vitale , Treasurer/Collector and to approve the
uncollectible camping trailer personal property abatements as identified in the June 7 , 2019
memo from Lisa Vitale, Treasurer/Collector , Ms . Eyestone seconds , approved unanimously .
5 . Real Estate Abatements under MGL Chapter 59 Section 72A
The Town of Brewster purchased portions of Assessors ' Parcel ID 84-22 - 0 and 84- 54 - 0 on
W . H . Besse Cartway . After review and discussion, Ms . Eyestone moved to grant an
abatement for parcel ID 84 -22 - 0 in the amount of $ 22 , 852 . 88 and an abatement for parcel ID
84 - 54 - 0 in the amount of $ 5 , 772 . 74 . This represents a pro -rated amount calculated by the
difference in assessed value multiplied by the number of days left in the fiscal year . Mr .
Hayes seconds , approved unanimously .
6 . Authorization to sign Department of Revenue Forms on behalf of the Board of
Assessors
Ms . Eyestone made a motion to authorize the Deputy Assessor, James M . Gallagher, to sign
forms on the Board of Assessors ' behalf for submission in DLS Gateway . Including, but not
limited to LA-3 , LA4 , LA- 13 , LA- 15 , etc . Mr . Hayes seconds , approved unanimously .

7 . Classified Land (Chapter 61B) Release — Robinson, W. H. Besse Cartway
Ms . Eyestone made a motion to release the Chapter 6 1 B Lien on property located on
Assessors ' Parcel ID 84 -22 - 0 and 84 - 544 Mr . Hayes seconds , approved unanimously .
8 . Uncollectible Boat Excise Abatements
After review and discussion Ms . Eyestone moved to grant abatements to the uncollectible
boat excise tax bills as identified in the May 2 , 2019 memo from Lisa Vitale,
Treasurer/Collector . Mr . Hayes seconds, approved unanimously .
9 . Review and approve Regular Session Meeting Minutes
Review and approve Executive Session Meeting Minutes *
• April 9 , 2019
Ms . Eyestone moved to approve both the regular session minutes and executive session
minutes of April 9 , 2019 . Mr . Hayes seconds , approved unanimously .
10 . Topics the Chair did not reasonably anticipate : None .
Executive Session * (To comply with or act under the authority of, any general or special law or
federal grant-in- aid requirements : MGL Chap . 59 Sec . 60 and MGL Chap . 214 Sec . 1B)
The Board of Assessors did not go into Executive Session. There was no new information
regarding the items on the Executive Session Agenda.
