The Toim Commissioners of Gulf Stream, Florida met at the
Totm Hall in Gulf Stream, Florida, at 10:00 A.M. on August 11, 19657
to hear and consider any complaints of the tax payers and to re-
ceive and equalize values of real estate and improved property on
the Toom's tax assessment rolls as of January 1, 1965.
The Deputy Too= Clerk caller' the Commissioners' attention to
Resolution #53$ which set the date and time of the Equalization
meeting and to the fact that the Equalization meeting was recessed
until August 11, 1965.
The Totm Tax Assessor informed the Board of Equalization that
since the Palm Beach County Tax Assessor had not as yet made his
records available to the To= Tax Assessor, he had not prepared the
Assessment Rolls for 1965.
A motion was made to recess the meeting of the To:•m Commissioners
sitting as a Board of Equalizers until 10:00 A.11. on September 11, 1965.
The motion was seconded and was then passed unanimously.
The Commissioners agreed to reconvene at Gulf Stream Tozm Nall
at 10:00 A.M. on September 11, 1965.

COMMISSION OF TOWN OF GULF STREAM
GULF STREAM, FLORIDA
We, the undersigned owners of the following described
lands in the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, respectfully seek an
Order vacating and abandoning the right-of-way for what is com-
monly described as Old AIA, or Old Ocean Boulevard Road:
All that part of Lots 1 and 2 of Block "B" of
PALM BEACH SHORE ACRES (Ocean Boulevard Estates)
(located in the Town of Gulf Stream), a sub-
division of land lying and being in Government
Lot 1, Section 3, Township 46 South, Range 43
East, according to a plat of said Sub -division
on file in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Palm Beach County, Florida, and recorded
in Plat Book 7, page 15, lying East of the Center
line of State Road AlA as now laid out, platted
and surveyed over, across and through said Section
3, Township 46 South, Range 43 East, in conformity to
and with that certain right-of-way deed dated
January 14, 1948, from Howard C. Brokaw and wife
to County of Palm Beach, recorded in Deed Book 833 '
at page 178, Palm Beach County, Florida, public
records.
With the destruction of the road bed of Old AIA in the
1947 hurricane, and the building of the presently existing AIA,
there is no municipal use for the right-of-way of Old AlA which
lies upon said lands of your Petitioners.
Your Petitioners represent that the State of Florida
has formally abandoned the right-of-way of Old AlA to the Town
of Gulf Stream, which has in turn vacated and abandoned the same
to various other land owners over whose land said right-of-way
existed.
That said right-of-way for Old AIA is now located on
the sand beach of your Petitioners' land, and is partially inun-
dated by the waters of the Atlantic ocean at certain tides and
at certain times of the year, and is therefore of no use to the
Town of Gulf Stream for road or other purposes.
Attached hereto and made a part hereof is a copy of
survey of said lands, showing old and new AIA.
