Roll Call The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the City Hall Council Chamber. Mayor Pro-Tem Havens called the meeting to order at 6:05 PM. Upon roll being called the following members were present: Al Havens, Chris Olney, Eric Schnedler, Skylar Limkemann, Tim Orris. Absent: Mayor Berner. Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk Abigail Hora. B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion to approve agenda by Orris. Second by Schnedler. All ayes, agenda approved. C. Discussion of Updated City Logo Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Council discussed the presented City logo designs. D. Discussion and Review of City Water and Sewer Monthly Billing Procedures E. Update on the Widening of Highway 6 from Main Street to the Roundabout Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt discussed the widening of Highway 6 from Main Street to the Roundabout. It is estimated to be widened in 2027. F. Questions from Council Members regarding items on the Regular City Council Agenda or Reports G. Other Business H. Adjournment Motion to adjourn by Orris. Discussion: Jessica Flick, 1509 Croell Ave, looking for a follow up on the stop signs on Dogwood Ln & Croell Ave. Travis Weipert, 552 Doe Ave, gave compliments on the digital speed signs around town. Resolution No. 2023-064 A Resolution Setting the Salaries for the Appointed Officers and Employees of the City of Tiffin, Iowa. Motion to amend for a term of two years with an auto renewal by Limkemann. Second by Orris. All ayes, motion carried. City Administrator Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt reminded all of the th upcoming open house for the Public Works building on September 27 from 5-7PM. City Staff and City Engineers are working on a water quality Q/A to release to the public in regard to future th improvements. There will be Senior Coffee Hour on Monday September 25 at 10AM.
