A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A ZONING BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA
Whereas, there is currently two open positions on the Zoning Board of Adjustment; and,
Whereas, the City needs to comply with gender equality requirements to the best of its
ability,
Now, therefore be it resolved, that the City Council is appointing Diane Havens to fill
one of the two open positions on the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
On this 19th day of September, 2023, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION 2023-063, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF A ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
MEMBER FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA and made a motion for approval. The
motion was seconded by Councilperson Olney.
Ayes: Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Olney, Orris.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2023-063, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
APPOINTMENT OF A ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEMBER FOR THE CITY
OF TIFFIN, IOWA to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 19th day of September, 2023.
