A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF ADDITIONAL STOP SIGNS AT
THE INTERSECTION OF GOLDFINCH DRIVE AND POTTER STREET
Whereas, there has been a request to mitigate the traffic flows and speed at the intersection
of Goldfinch Drive and Potter Street; and,
Whereas, this could potentially be accomplished by the addition of stop signs at that
intersection,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to authorize the
placement of additional stop signs at the intersection of Goldfinch Drive and Potter Street.
On this 19th day of September, 2023, at the regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Olney introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023-065, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE PLACEMENT OF ADDITIONAL STOP SIGNS AT THE
INTERSECTION OF GOLDFINCH DRIVE AND POTTER STREET and made a motion for
approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Olney, Orris, Schnedler.
Nays: Havens, Limkemann.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2023-065, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
PLACEMENT OF ADDITIONAL STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION OF GOLDFINCH
DRIVE AND POTTER STREET to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereunto.
Passed by the City Council on the 19th day of September, 2023.
