AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RISK MANAGEMENT
APPOINTNIENT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional risk management
services related to Workman's Compensation, Property and Casualty and various
Liability insurance coverage and claims; and
WHEREAS, North American Insurance Management Corporation ( "NAhMC ") of 1460 US
Route 9 North, Suite 210, Woodbridge, NJ 07095, possesses the requisite experience and
expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's Law Director has reviewed said proposal with regard to the
Borough's previous request for the saute; and
WHEREAS, the cost for said services is already included in the Municipal Joint Insurance Fund
or Commercial Insures' coverage received by the Borough for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough of
Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal to provide risk management services received from North American
Insurance Management Corporation ( "NAIMC ") of 1460 US Route 9 North, Suite 210,
Woodbridge, NJ 07095, is hereby accepted and approved, and the appropriate Borough
Officials are hereby authorized and directed to take such addition action(s) as may be
necessary to effectuate this appointment.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant to the
Borough's Fair and Open Process as provided for and in accordance with applicable law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Law Director for distribution to
NAIMC.
