WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to apply through the Iowa Department of
Economic Development for Housing Fund funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public hearing to solicit citizen input
about major concerns of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to pledge the sum of $_4,500.00 as "Local Effort"
toward the total project identified in the application;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Riverdale, Iowa accepts the authority and responsibility of their offices, and pledges the
amount of $ 4,500.00 if, in fact, a Housing Fund award is made.
ADOPTED, this 18 day of November, 2010.
