The essential footprint and location of the house on the property is still the same, except they added a 12 foot screen porch across the front of the house and converted the 24' x 16' deck on the left side of the house into a 10' x 24' bathroom. For purposes of this brick installation project, everything is essentially the same as it was on this survey. I took the survey and measured the size of the pre- existing concrete driveways and walkways and the new landscape brick patio area in relation to the house and the property lines. The southeast corner of the lot is marked by a steel survey stake. All of the measurement added up. I have used the 2002 survey and transposed the pre- existing concrete driveways and walkways and the new landscape brick patio area onto the survey (with measurements and color coded). Attached please find color copies of the following documents: 1. An Application for Building Permit that is completed. I have signed it as attorney for my mother. 2. The 2013 Chatham County Property Record Card for the property. 3. The Elevation Certificate (in case it is needed for some reason). 4. The 1945 recorded Plan of Re- subdivision for these lots. 5. A revised survey showing the size and location of the pre- existing concrete driveways and walkways and the new landscape brick patio area (color coded) 6. A revised survey depicting the current make -up of the combined set back areas for the lot (color coded for natural and paving) 7. My calculation of the percentage of the set -back area remaining in green space after the new pavers were installed (66.6 %) with a copy of the map and measurements used for the calculations attached. 8. A Detail Sheet for the installation of the bricks. 9. The Manufacturer's Product Description Sheet for the bricks installed (from Low Country Paver website). 10. 12 photographs I took yesterday depicting various aspects of the brick installation (sent in a separate e -mail given the size). I want to again stress that these landscape bricks were simply placed over the existing rock and dirt area. The storm water surface drainage of this area did not change. There was no change in the elevation, grade or slope of the area. This project did not impact the surface water drainage for this area or any portion of the property. Since at least the time my parents purchased the house in 2002, the water from this area (front, back and side) has always drained towarc the front right corner of the house. You do not need a topographic survey to show this. It is very evident from the eye that the slope of this area runs to this corner. That is probably why a previous owner installed a French drain at this corner (in addition to the outdoor shower at this location), which disperses all of the surface storm /rain water from this area underground through perforated pipes to the front and back of the property. I must stress that none of the storm water from this property ever has, and does not now, run off of the property to neighboring property or to the City's storm water sewer system. It is all collected and dispersed underground through the French drain onto this property. I would also note that neither the pre- existing concrete driveways nor the new landscape brick patio area touches the property line or connects to the public road (6th Place). There is approximately 2 foot of rock /dirt between the end of i the driveways and the property line /rc This is consistent with the survey an" — vident by the existing property corner marker. I am mailing you an original copy of all of these documents. If you will advise me the cost of submitting this permit application, I will include a check in the package being mailed.
