4. FY 2002-03 BUDGET WORKSHOP — PROPOSED FY 02-03 LYNWOOD PUBLIC FINANCE
AUTHORITY GOALS
Comments:
In 1998, the Lynwood Public Finance Authority, expanded its scope of responsibilities to
include the following:
1) The evaluation of financing tools and strategies through a strategic planning process;
2) The monitoring of federal,'state and local laws and legislation; and
3) The pursuance of legislation to support the City's effort to create sound financing
• strategies to promote commercial development and industrial development, to enhance
the housing stock, and to maintain and improve the City's infrastructure.
' Recommendation:
Staff recommends for the Lynwood Public Finance Authority to receive ihe presentation
from staff and to provide staff with guidance to be used in developing the proposed FY 2002-
03 Budget.
