THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 30;;"
AN ORDINANCE SPECIFYING PARTICULAR
INTERSECTIONS AS STOP INTERSECTIONS;
PROVIDING FOR THE ERECTION OF STOP SIGNS AT
CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1. Stop Sign Locations
When stop signs are erected and maintained giving notice thereof, drivers of
vehicles shall stop at the following intersections before entering any of the following
streets or portions of streets:
Woodlawn Street
When entering from 45th Street North
45th Street North
When entering from Woodlawn Street
Section 2. Four Way Stop Siems
In addition to the stop signs at the above-stated locations, signs shall be
posted informing drivers approaching the intersection of 45th Street North and
Woodlawn Street that said intersection is a four way stop intersection.
Section 3. Penaltv
The penalty for any person found guilty of failing to obey a stop sign shall be
provided in the Uniform Traffic Code as adopted by the City of Bel Aire.
Section 4. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication
in the official city newspaper.
