September 23, 2019
The Watertown Board of Election Commissioners held a special meeting at 5:15 p.m. on September 23,
2019 to determine the order in which candidates will be listed on the ballot in the town election. Chair
Katherine Button, Secretary Adam Brewster, and Town Clerk John Flynn were present. Vice Chair
Eugene Slaven and Commissioner Christopher Dunn were absent. Also present were Town Councilors
Caroline Bayes,Anthony Donato and Anthony Palomba, and Candidates for Town Council John
Gannon and James Mello.
1. Drawing of Lots for Town Council At-Large
Each of the candidates who were present drew a number from the tumbler. Board members drew
numbers for candidates who did not appear, The candidates will be listed on the ballot in the order of
the numbers that they drew. The results were as follows:
