L2ayor Vahlsing presiding^ and all councilmen present;-
A��inutes of last meeting were read and on motion by Riekena
second by Spieker, approved a s re�61- motien carried.
It was moved by Hook seconded by Riekena, that the American
Am Veterans be granted the use of the streets for th��r
Carnival Celebration July 23-24th- Carried.
It was moved that the street and alley com*�ittee make an
inspection of all sidewalks and order repairs where in their
judgment it eras required. motion carried.
It .vas mo��ed by Hook second by Spieker that the T.Zayor anc'A Clerk
enter into contract �a�ith the H P.R Brown Co, Des raoin_es for the
purchase of 1 Tar kettle for repair and maintanance of the streF�ts.

It was moved. by Huisman second by Riekena that �.ve purchase a
1000 gal storage tank from the TRarathon Oi]_ Co, Carried.
The following applications for Cigarettes permits were presented.
with proper Bonds and. license fee,,
M T�2 Boeke- Paul Bantz - Joe ��esterhausen- A ',V Lolwing
Thos Hoekstra and Henry Hippen.
It was moved by Hook second by Spieker that permits be
granted to the above and that their Bonds be approved.
