The meeting was called to order by Mayor Dodson.
The minutes of the meeting held November 14, 1964 were read
approved and adopted. The Financial and Water Report for Novem-
ber, 1964 was read and approved. All expenditures included in
this report were approved.
Dir. Curry of Russell and Axon gave a short report on pro-
posed sewers studies being made for the Town of Ocean Ridge and
Briny Breezes Park for constructing a sewer line along AIA to tie
in with the sewer outfall systen of Delray Beach. He asked the
Toon to consider a similar study be made of Gulf Stream. Mr. Igle-
hart moved that the Town authorize a sewer study to be made by
Russell and Axon at a cost of 0300.00. The motion was seconded
and passed unanimously.
Mr. Hart gave a report on a meeting of the Florida Shore
and Beach Preservation Association as attended by Dir. William
Severn. Mr. Hart stated that the Gulf Stream Civic Association
was joining this organization and that future progress of the
Association would be forwarded to the Town Commission. The goals
of the Association is to work for legislation to help deal with
beach erosion.
A letter from the City of Boynton Beach was read to the
Commission. This letter urged the Town to contact the State
Road Department supporting immediate construction of a bridge at
15th Avenue in Boynton Beach. The Commission instructed the
Town clerk to reply to this letter with no firm endorsement.
Building permits for November were reported as follows:
Residence - Gerald White - Place au Soleil $35:000.00
Residence - Henry V. Pope- 3445 Polo Drive 23,000.00
Residence - Samuel Ogren - Place au Soleil 407000.00

A cony of the annual audit report prepared by Hines ec Himes�
C.P.A.'s was given to each Commissioner for study. The Commission
an-oroved payment of $925.00 for preparation of the audit.
The Police reports for Novenber were read and approved.
Tax collections through 12/11/64 were $46 702.00 or 88% of
Total tax roll.

The Commission approved pay raises for the trash men as

Stafford Rafuse $2.50 per week
Paul Bradwell 2.00 per week
The Commission authorized Christmas bonuses as follows:
All policemen and Town Clerk $100.00 each
Stafford Rafuse 75.00
Paul Bradwell 50.00
The Commission authorized the Toi�m Clerk to invest
G10)000.00 of General Fund tax revenue in certificates of
deposit.
