APPROVING EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO THE SYNTHETIC TURF FIELDS
AT CIVIC PARK / THE LANDTEK GROUP, INC.
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has advised the Governing Body that emergency
repairs need to be performed to the two (2) synthetic turf fields at Civic Center Park due
to the recent hurricane; and '
WHEREAS, the Engineer has advised that said repair is necessary for residents who
utilize the fields.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, that emergency repairs be done
by The LandTek Group, Inc., Amityville, New York, to the above described two (2)
synthetic turf fields at a cost not to exceed $7,725.00 is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the
Borough Engineer and the Borough's Purchasing Department to effectuate the purposes
expressed herein. -
