AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE,
AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE WHITEWATER VALLEY REMC
COMMUNITY TRUST, INC.
WHEREAS, the Whitewater Valley REMC Community Trust, Inc. has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department desires to submit a grant
application to obtain funds for the "Just Us Kids Outdoors" (JUKO) summer program;
and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant
application to the Whitewater Valley REMC Community Trust, Inc.
2. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is authorized to accept said grant
funding in an amount up to One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department, shall be
appropriated for the "Just Us Kids Outdoors" (JUKO) summer program.
Passed and adopted this 16th_ day of Mav 2005, by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana.
