AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL
ASSOCIATION FOR INTERPRETATION
WHEREAS, the National Association for Interpretation has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department desires to submit a grant
application to obtain funds that will be used to send the Outdoor Recreational
Coordinator to the 2004 Region Four Conference; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is hereby authorized to submit
a grant application to the National Association for Interpretation.
2. The City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department is authorized to accept said
grant funding in an amount up to Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond Parks & Recreation Department, shall
be appropriated to send the Outdoor Recreation Coordinator to the 2004 Region Four
Conference.

of Richmond, Indiana.
