HomeMy Public PortalAbout040-2004 - Zoning - Amending the zoning mapORDINANCE 40-2004 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL FROM R-3 TO C-2 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT Whereas, the Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as 101, 103 SW 2" d Street, and legally described as provided and follows, to wit: 101 SW 2nd Street/ 103 SW 2nd Street — 35 FT X'/z Vacated - Howard St. Lot 15 0 K (50-05-120-202.000-29) Pt N Pt 35 Ft X 82.5 Ft Lot 15 0 K (50-05-120-203.000-29). as an R-3 One to Eight Family Residence District; and Whereas, it is desirable to change the above described real estate's zoning designation to a C-2 Commercial District in order to expand the permitted uses on the property and to make the zoning designation uniform with adjacent properties. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation for the above described property is changed to a C-2 Commercial District.
