AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2003 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2003; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2003 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund —Law
Delete $52,000.00 from Regular Salaries
Existing account no. 10 1. 05.05 0.110.000.1196
Add $52,000.00 to Legal Services
Existing account no. 10 1. 05.05 0.110.000.3 120
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of February 2003, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
