A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF
RICHMOND TO RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting
contributions for a specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of contributions for a specific purpose constitutes the
appropriation of such contributions for the intended purpose; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Human Rights Commission will be hosting Consortium
Conference June 25t'-27t', 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the City is authorized to receive contributions to be used to help pay the costs of the
aforementioned Human Rights Commission Consortium Conference to be held in Richmond on
June 25"'-27"', 2003, and that said contributions will be used to help cover the costs thereof.
Passed and adopted this _21 st_ day of _April 2003, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
