ORDINANCE NO. 51-2003
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
THE INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AERONAUTICS SECTION
WHEREAS, the Indiana Department of Transportation has grant funding available through its
Aeronautics Section; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond desires to submit a grant application to the Indiana
Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, if the City of Richmond receives the grant funds, it will apply such funds to the
amount needed as a local match for a Federal Grant described in Ordinance No.
50-2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, as follows:
The City of Richmond is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Indiana
Department of Transportation.
2. The City of Richmond is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to
Eight Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-three Dollars ($8,333.00).
Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be applied for the local match as
described in Ordinance No. 50-2003.
