Home My Public Portal About059-2003 _Compensation of Elected Officers2004_ORDINANCE NO. 59-2003 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANACE FIXING THE ANNUAL COMPENSATION OF ALL ELECTED CITY OFFICERS FOR 2004 WHEREAS, Indiana Code 34-4-7-2 requires Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, to fix the annual compensation of all elected city officers by ordinance; and WHEREAS, this ordinance will have been published two times in the Palladium -Item newspaper, Richmond, Indiana, with the first such publication taking place August 24, 2003 and the second such publications taking place September 14, 2003; and WHEREAS, such first publication will have taken place at least 30 days before final passage hereof. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the City's elected officials be compensated in the following sums for the calendar year 2004, to wit: 2004 Annual Bi-Weekly Salary Salary Mayor 2,468.04 64,169.13 Clerk 1,706.39 44,366.25 President of Common Council 234.14 6,087.66 Chairman of RP&L 234.14 6,087.66 Members of Common Council (8) 223.00 5,797.91 Members of RP&L Board (8) 223.00 5,797.91 ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION In addition to the above salaries the mayor and Clerk, as full-time city employees, shall also be entitled to the same fringe benefits as other full-time city employees as set forth within the City of Richmond Personnel Policy Manual.
