Special Session - Call to Order 6:30 PM B. Roll Call The City of Tiffin City Council held a special session on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the City Hall Council Chamber. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 6:31 PM. Upon roll being called the following members were present Chris Olney, Skylar Limkemann, Tim Orris, Eric Schnedler, Al Havens. Others present City Administration Doug Boldt and City Clerk Abigail Hora. C. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval Motion to approve agenda by Schnedler. Second by Olney. All ayes, agenda approved. D. Communications and Reports 1. Unscheduled I agenda is reached. If you wish to address the City Council on an item not on the agenda, please approach the lectern and give your name and address for the public record before discussing your item. E. Resolutions for Approval 1. Resolution No. 2023-072 A Resolution Setting the Date of November 7, 2023, for a Public Hearing to Amend the Tiffin Zoning Ordinance, Section 5, Fence and Hedge Regulations. Motion to approve Resolution No. 2023-072 A Resolution Setting the Date of November 7, 2023, for a Public Hearing to Amend the Tiffin Zoning Ordinance, Section 5, Fence and Hedge Regulations by Havens. Second by Orris. Roll Call: Havens, Orris, Olney, Schnedler, Limkemann. All ayes, motion carried. F. Motions for Approval 1. Department and Council Action as Needed. Discussion: Sheriff Kunkel presented a 5-year contract with the City. Council would like Sheriff Kunkel to revise FY 26/27 to 168 hours weekly, FY 27/28 to 252 hours weekly and FY 28/29 to 252 hours weekly and see how those amounts would increase. The first two years of this contract would be unchanged from the presented proposal. 2. Discussion and Consideration of Proposal from Atura Architecture for Architectural Services for a Community Recreation and Wellness Center and Council Action as Needed. Motion to approve by Limkemann. Second by Havens. City Council Agenda Page 1 of 2 All ayes, motion carried. G. Reports from City Personnel 1. Nothing to Report. 2. City Council Reports Nothing to Report. 3. City Administrator Discussion: City Administrator Doug Boldt requested City Hall be st closed for a few hours on November 1 for training. G. Adjournment Motion to adjourn by Schnedler. Second by Orris.
